A once again living Master (who has regenerated into a women called Missy, short for Mistress) creating a Cybermen army out of the dead on Earth that will keep on growing the more they kill, all as a present for the Doctor. A personal army he can control and create his own ''peace'' and even destroy the Daleks for good.

That's what's so good about The Master. He can fight the Doctor head on, use all kinds of weapons but it's his psychological torture where he shines the most. Throughout this season we got to see the other side of the Doctor, the Doctor fueled by hatred for creatures like the Daleks, that can be a heartless bastard if needed. And the Master played in on that. Of course the Doctor refuses this ''birthday present'' but it still hit the Doctor on a emotional level. To twist the knife a bit more, the Master tells him the coordinates of Gallifrey (his home planet, which was saved in The Day of The Doctor) but it turns out to be another lie from the Master. You just gotta love how evil he/she is.

I also liked the conclusion to Clara and Danny's relationship and how as a Cybermen he maintained his own self and destroyed the Cybermen army. And of course the one chance he gets to come back to life he instead gives it to a innocent little boy he killed during a mission when he was a soldier. A man you can be proud of.

The only real issue was how the Master fits in all of this. She said she survived alongside Gallifrey in DoTD and escaped that pocket dimension but does this mean that the Last of The Timelords and End of Time events didn't happen? Seeing as how he was a man and served the Time Lords. Then again we meet him first as a old man in New Who who had his memories stored in some Time Lord technology....you know what? This is going to get too complicated so I'll stop here. But I'm sure she will be back. The Master always finds a way.

Overall it was a good and solid finale to this season of Doctor Who. Now we just have to wait until Christmas for the Christmas Special. Nick Frost is playing Santa Claus in Doctor Who. Priceless.

Um... How short was this season...? Also, has anyone else noticed that the recent movies of Nick Frost works in, Simon Pegg is with him?
